Safe Tower Practices Revealed

There’s a new standard in town and it has the endorsement of ANSI, ASSE and NATE. 

AGL reports these organizations have been working together to develop more comprehensive safety practices and procedures.

Of course, these aren’t the three amigos, but the American National Standards Institute, American Society of Safety Engineers and the National Association of Tower Erectors.  This is being touted as an "ultimate" safety standard encompassing tower construction, service and maintenance and practices throughout. 

 

The new standard, dubbed A10.48 was six years in the making and is looking to implemented in the near future. Read more here.
