Rohde & Schwarz and Prisma Telecom Testing present world’s first test setup for 2 Gbit/s data transfer over LTE

Test and measurement specialist Rohde & Schwarz and Prisma Telecom Testing, a leading supplier of performance testing solutions, have successfully completed verification of LTE FDD five component carrier (5CC) aggregation in the downlink, including 4x4 MIMO and 256QAM on each carrier. This combination allows data transfer rates up to 2 Gbit/s. Rohde & Schwarz will present this test setup to the public for the first time at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
