The showcase at the summit in Warsaw caps off a product development cycle that culminated with a prototype launch in the winter of 2015. NATO has shown their faith in the system, with half a dozen units already on order. Barring any unforeseen delays, the MGGS will be ready for service before August of this year.

As per Airbus Defence & Space "The AGS (Alliance Ground Surveillance) industrial team, led by Northrop Grumman, includes Airbus Defence and Space, Leonardo and Kongsberg, as well as leading defence companies from the participating nations."
